How do you teach children mindfulness?

We incorporate into our daily circle practices of calm, breathe work, sharing gratitude, and integrating awareness into every aspect of the child’s day.  We bring in nature elements and connect the children to use their 5 senses to create, explore and learn about themselves, their environment and others around them.  Teaching mindfulness creates an environment where children can process emotions in a positive way. They create tools to carry with them as they grow and develop in their own world.
